Zhu Yuan is our next S rank character in Zenless Zone Zero! She is scheduled for a full release in 1 week, July 24th, 2024. As a S-rank Ether DPS unit, how broken is she? Is she as valuable as everyone says? Should I even bother pulling for her, or even her banner? All of these questions and more will be answered in this guide my friends.

11:58 Correction, we can only get flat Pen from substats and Pen Ratio % from either the 5th Disk slot or the 2pc pen ratio disk drive set. While they're both pen and ignore defense, Pen only ignores defense by a flat amount (if you have 10 Pen and the enemy has 1000 armor, you ignore 10 armor) while Pen Ratio % ignores based on a percentage (if you have 10 Pen Ratio % and the enemy has 1000 armor, you ignore 100 armor). Nice video tho will be pulling for her when she drops.

Am gonna pull her because:

1. Very fast and fun gameplay. dancing around the battlefield while doing heavy damage is fun. Ive played her missions multiple time just to test her out and i just keep loving her more and more.

2. Future proof. Ether stun will make her broken since they can both daze enemy easily and build up anomaly for zhu yuen so she can do that massive burst damage.

3. She hot. She hot. 🥰

I've saved up 160 pulls for Zhu Yuan, and with a few more days before her banner, I might be able to get even more, and I will pull for her w engine if I get her early. I'm really excited to partner her with Nicole!

I've already built both Anby and Nicole (because Cunning Hares are the best frfr) so i shouldn't have much difficulty gathering resources for Zhu Yuan, but now this means i'll have the build the dreaded second team...

Update: I got Zhu Yuan, her W-Engine, and C5 Ben, and I got 5K polies to spare, I am so happy 🤣🤣 I wonder if i should pull dupes for her or the engine?
