I forgot that feature was there. Looking forward to bringing it back into my toolset. Thanks!

Direct Offline Processing is cool and been around for a long time, but Samplitude, think, did it better, by being able to put plug ins in the track and on or the individual events clips with endless freeze that will update graphics and link processed materials that can be undone. Cubase should look into that and incorporate.

Is there a way to go back to one of the processes and edit the setting? Or would you have to redo the setting?

Thank you very much Greg! But how to apply DOP to different sections of the same audio clip and crossfade between them? If I just split the event and apply DOP to the resulting events it applies processes not to events but to the sections of audio file resulting in no crossfade between two events. Should I do render in place before processing of different event of the same audio file or is there another better way to do this?

UPD: Found out that there is Functions-Convert to Real Copy in Edit menu.

why can't we save favorites (store presets) in offline processing, like in Nuendo so, in Cubase we are force to start from scratch when want to use an effects chain on another event.

Great but will cubase ever see the batch offline functionality that nuendo has, even in its simplest fashion? Also can you go over this and show modifications to one effect on the list as well as replacement of very helpful videos....jb

Good stuff! Did they bloody removed the "offline process history" from 9.5? I need to change some stretching i did with time tool on events. The option is not there anymore under "audio"

Gotta try and see if this works with 3rd party plugins. This would be great if i could use my waves tape saturatrion and NLS presets and add to the tracks without eating up CPU cycles....

Yeah, it's great for trying out stuff without needing to duplicate tracks and files and this and that only to discover it's a cul de sac kind of idea.
It would be even greater to be able to have this window open and with checkboxes to the left of the items in the list and maybe even reorder them. Haha I'm on a roll!!! :D

Yes, very helpful indeed. Greg, I was wondering if there is a way to select a piece of audio in a clip and then use the scroll wheel for example to use clipgain for the selection. Any idea if this can be done in Cubase?

Greg how do u do it on only one audio clip instead of all the other copies of that audio clip.

Does Logic Pro or any other DAWs out there offer to this extent of feature or only in Cubase?!

i discovered something in Cubase. when it froze doing something and i played a really heavy cpu synth, it played without a hitch! They need to learn how to freeze the processor technique. i wish i knew what was freezing to say exactly what to freeze intentionally for them to mod. If they can discover this technique, you know it will be better than GPU processing. Real time.
