I regret showing my nephew the Eridium Fabricator... he burned through over 5k of my Eridium. I finished cooking dinner only to find lots of legendaries strewn all over the map. Mostly mediocre ones. I wasn't mad, just disappointed.

Sometimes I am in the middle of a playthrough with a lower level character when I decide I want to try something different. So I would switch to one of my 72M11 characters and farm any fast boss for a few minutes to fill my lost loot machine before starting the new character to get some money for those SDUs. I first learned of that when I saw you use the lost loot machine on a new level 13 skip. Thanks K6!

Arms Race is the best balanced content in the franchise imo. I was one of those old timers put off by the idea of it but after sinking a lot of time into it (gimmie moar Tizzy's and Plasma Coils) it's so well done and super refreshing. I really hope BL4 can have some content like that on launch, but expanded on as it really is one of the best parts of the game.

Honestly, it's this kinda thing that gives me a good feeling for bl4, i get videos on my feed telling me the borderlands franchise is dead but gearbox HAS been learning, bl3 delivered a sorry story, wonderlands greatly improved on that aspect, and wonderlands' lack of SOME basic Gameplay qol saw this update (wrong game but oh well)

You can say gearbox doesn't care or they won't deliver, but looking at the facts, i would say ootherwise, I'm genuinely hopeful for this

This was a good update, usually on my level 11 playthroughs if I find loot that would suit another character I put it in the safe, that way when I play with that character I have ready gear

While buying Crits/Hails, you could switch to picking up purples = sell. Drop everything, pick it up to sell. Rinse, repeat. Just remember to switch the option back after.

Another great tip for Arms Race is doing the Re-Volter “glitch before you head down there(if you have one in your lost loot machine). It makes things way easier for sure.

another thing you can do in arm race if you got 3 keys in a vault card you can claim a weapon shield or the shlooter to help in the run just make sure you extract it if you want to keep it

Not having loadouts hurts this game, but having this new patch is a nice bandaid

One tip I find helpful for arms race in particular is that radioactive Maliwan pistols absolutely shred; the only enemies which resist radioactive damage are Barf Skags and Badass Radioactive Skags, even the null hounds and gunwolves take enough damage from radioactive sources that it's worth using.

Another option for getting that early cash money is to get a "money maddening tracker" grenade mod, preferably at a low level. In BL3, cash drops scale with the level of the region/enemies, rather than the level of the grenade, so on mayhem 11, you can toss out any money grenade you have and expect a ton of cash from it. With the money maddening tracker, you can easily expect to get tens of millions of dollars per grenade.

Pro tip... the "money cap" is only visuial. You still keep collecting, and the game still keeps track, it just only shows all 9's
