Your channel deserves so many more subs than it has. To think about some of the channels with 20+ million subscribers ... they contribute to this world less than 1% of what your videos do.

I don't know how I ever made it to 68 years old and never took an astronomy class, especially since as an airline pilot I was always interested in the subject. Really excellent, clear teaching, looking forward to going through this series of videos...

hi, i love astronomy and these videos help me understand- actual astronomy. i figure a lot of people think it is just the photos of space, but it’s more math and calculations.

Mr. Professor I have heard that it is possible to make Au from Hg through nuclear reaction. Since it is energetically demand reaction and the product is radioactive it is not common. Does Gold from space is also radioactive?

Mr Biezen, is it true that higgs field is responsible to give only 1% of the atoms's mass while the rest of it is in the form of kinetic energy?

and....the solid shell made up of incredibly fast electrons you talked about, , , , is there a shell made by each individual electron in an atom?

Love your videos! But the audio definitely needs to run through a limiter before uploading.

"Raises hand"
Mr.Biezen, you spoke of Hydrogen making 75% of the universe and the other 25% is Helium but then you said that it isnt the totality of the universe that there is a 1% in the universe, that makes up the whole periodic table, so does that mean that Helium makes up like 24% or Hydrogen makes up 74%.... or something?
"puts hand down... waitsss ._."

Professor, wouldn't it be more accurate to say that 0:19 Hydrogen makes up about 75% of the "observable" universe? We don't know what is out there or even if the universe is infinite or not. Whatever the case, is this what you mean when you say "the whole universe"?

I thought electrons were a probability cloud. Do probability clouds zip?

I have one doubt: when the big bang took place every subatomic particle, matter, anti matter, etc. was in a tiny point but how did matter dominate?
