Definitely looking forward to seeing more from Lift. It's great that they have responded to the competition and demand for a more simple setup and assembly.
The biggest question I have is if they will also respond in kind regarding the handheld remote? Will Lift align themselves with the rest of the industry and finally add an auto safety lock feature/option to mitigate accidental acceleration?

The best answer in my opinion would be a default acceleration lock that functions like Waydoo, Flite, or really any other brand. Pair that with an ability to deactivate the safety lock entirely in the settings (displaying a warning) so that existing Lift riders can still customize the remote to function as they are used to from many years of riding.

Edit: because Lift is a foiling company as well, it makes more sense to have the motor on the mast so that wings can maintain compatibility with everything they do in all Foiling disciplines.

Not saying it's impossible to make an inline drive system, but it would require a huge change and departure to EVERYTHING they do if they switched... Or maybe I'm lacking the imagination as to how they could change the motor without changing the wings 🤔?
