The fact that Sheldon was able to pick the lock on this place and bypass the alarm system reminds me of how Lenard said he's "One lab accident away from becoming a super-villain". Let's not forget that episode where Sheldon wanted revenge on Crypkie for pranking him and and Sheldon made a remark about several poisons that would be untraceable in an autopsy.
The one thing that's stopping Sheldon from becoming an evil genius super-villain is his mother, once she's out of the picture the world is at Sheldon's mercy.
