For the younger generation enjoy your childhood, don't rush on growing up quickly because you only get one childhood in your life, but when you do get older it doesn't mean your life is over... you can still have your dreams even as you get older

I cried when I was a child as I know that this is the ending song of the last episode. Even though now I'm 31 year old man, this version still touch me and brings back all my childhood memories. Greetings from Indonesia.

I'm almost 34 years old and I can't listen to this song without crying my eyes out. A real masterpiece that hits direct in your souls heart. RIP Wada Kouji and thanks for The Best childhood song

From the very first note, I am both saddened and grateful for everything this song embodies.
From the adventures past to those no longer with us that helped form the memories of this incredible series.
Brings a tear that i'm not at all ashamed to shed😌

Sadly I didn’t get exposure to Digimon until the early 2010s. This song however was my first Japanese song I had ever listened to and I am extremely grateful for that as I couldn’t have ever stumbled onto a better song

I have watched over 400 anime, over 13000 episodes, over 500 openings and still....STILL...

This remains the greatest opening i have ever heard. Rest In Paradise Wada Koji, your song will forever be ingrained in my memory ❤️🙏❤️

its so weird, i always ALWAYS break my voice and cry whenever i sing along on the chorus parts. ALWAYS. I dont fucking understand why. This song has made me tear up so many times whenever it plays on shuffle randomly, wherever i may be, on public places even. It's so powerful. Rest in peace kouji wada, and thank you for making our childhoods brighter.

Our parents held up lighters to their favorite songs. Our generation holds up their phone. But I proudly hold up my Digivice to this song. Be happy with who you Digivolved into and be the best version of you that you can.

I'm 30+ and my tears started slowing uncontrollably and I was sobbing like crazy towards to end of this beautiful movie. Good bye Agumon.

we all walk different lives, we all eventually grow up

what's important is to remember those times and appreciate the past, for without it we would not become who we are today. and, to respect the lives of others, for without that walk of life we wouldn't be the unique human beans we are today

love your friends, love your family, and love digimon for making our childhood amazing

Being born in the early 2000s hearing this song and thinking it was the end actually made me feel like I lost something too not a digimon but a pass time or childhood favorite show, it broke me to here that it was ending and the fact that we aren’t ever gonna get the experience of seeing this masterpiece for the first time again.. to all the old fans. Stay well.

the way butterfly is made and sung gets everyone and will make anyone feel nostalgic even if they didn't grow up with it. genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've heard all of the versions and i dont even know what the singer is saying.

I like to think of last evolution kizuna as a metaphor - even if your life as a child ends, even if your potential specifically as a child fades, it’s not over. You have to navigate a whole new set of potentials, and you have to do it without that childlike fancy (or, in physical form, a Digimon) and it’s scary and you miss everything you’ve lost growing up, but it’s gonna be okay regardless, and you’re glad you had it at all.

I’m glad they made a reboot of the show but the original will always be the best and nothing can change my mind
