1. Nobody buys a jeep for gas mileage
2. Solid axles is WHY we buy Jeeps because the articulation is better than IFS. Which is why they are better than all other off road vehicles like Tacomas, Colorados etc
3. Removable panels is the Jeep brand
4. Literally EVERY carmaker tiers their models like this
5. I agree they should have offered a new motor like they did in the Wrangler
6. They are priced high BUT they are purpose built vehicles like no other and can go anywhere
7. The Gladiator does not compare to the Ranger or Colorado because those others cant do what a Jeep can. Jeeps are not a vehicle that can be compared across classes because no other vehicle is as capable
Lastly, any of the things you mentioned would mean that person never wanted a Jeep to begin with. Jeep people dont care about any of those things when buying one other than the price but in the end we know it would cost the same or more to make another vehicle as capable.

If you bought a new Jeep before Covid, drive it until the wheels fall off cause you’ll never pay those prices again.
50k for a truck with manual crank windows is ridiculous.

I got a 23 Willys right after Christmas. All options and 6 year warranty for $43k. I am damn happy with that! The backseat space is great for my baby's car seat. Already taken it on a few trails and had the doors and roof off multiple times. It's a great truck!

This is what a jeep is. My father used to say “Any car older than three years will be considered an old car, but Jeep will always be a legend.”❤✌️

My gripe is that they discontinued the 3.0 diesel, I REALLY wanted that engine in a gladiator 😒

Good rant I agree which is why I never pulled the trigger On this vehicle. No matter if it has 15-20k discounts. That’s just 1-2 year of depreciation from sitting On the lot. Then it drops another 10-15k once’s you drive off with it. 💸

Prices are still way high for lower trims. My local dealer has several 23 sport s msrp 62k. That’s stupid!

Purchase a 2023 new leftover Willys this March 2024 MSRP was $58, 300 paid $40k at 40k The vehicle is worth its price at 58K I would not have purchased it. It’s not worth that kind of money.

I'd probably buy one if Jeep ever released a Rubicon 392 version

Good job on your videos! I went from a 3rd gen Tacoma for 5 years, to a 23 Silverado 1500 LTZ Duramax and sold it because of transmission issues at 40k miles. I just picked up a 23 Gladiator Rubicon manual. Really neat truck, I have 1500 miles on it so far. Its been 8 days lol. I have become used to the wind noise but it is loud. I'm in your neck of the woods outside of Savannah, this wind over the last few days has been blowing this jeep around on the highway so I'm still trying to get used to the amount of corrections I have to make to keep it straight. Also since 700 miles I've been getting a "Service Transmission" warning but I'm pretty sure its not an actual issue and is some kind of software issue. One other thing, I have noticed an issue where it momentarily cuts power like it misfires in 3rd and 4th sometimes. I test drove a 24 Tacoma manual yesterday and the rev hang is insane, it completely killed the enjoyment of that vehicle. Overall since I paid like 42k for a pretty loaded Rubicon with a color matched hard top I am happy with it and think nothing touches that. You are right, price is 100% the biggest issue with them.

I live in Houston Texas and I'm telling you that most Jeeps here are tricked out Mall Crawlers. Over 95 percent of Jeeps in Houston will never leave the pavement. These machines were designed for off- road, instead purchased as a status symbol. The ironies of life...

Jason, I love your videos and format. You are one of only a few YouTubers who actually talk about exactly everything that matters to me. Keep up the good work. PS I love your other videos about how the Gladiator is the best midsized truck on the market.

In other words. The Jeep Gladiator is a truck that's not meant for everyone. And personally. I hope it stays that way. In a world of weak unibody turbo 4-cylinder trucks that's gonna cost you a few grand when those turbos fail. It's nice to see that the Gladiator is a real true mid-size truck.

‘21 Mojave owner here: The only thing I’d like updated is the inline 6 twin turbo. I’d buy one in a second.

If you don't want a jeep don't buy a jeep .

People that complain about the gas mileage are also the same people that don't get bigger tires. I've seen multiple reports now of the new Tacoma on 35s getting the same exact if not worse gas mileage than I do on my gladiator.

Absolutely!!! Could not agree more!! The price blows my mind (even more so than the price of the new Tacoma)!
I’ve never been inside a gladiator, but really want to test drive one, because it’s an appealing vehicle, for all the pros that you’ve mentioned before!
I like my Ram quad cab, but after doing some research, the gladiator has more rear seat leg room and space than my Ram 1500!
But $60k-$70k is just stupid!

Got the '23 Gladiator Rubicon with a deep discount I battled for and I love it. I wouldn't get the '24 one because at least of price, and like you mentioned in other videos the windshield antenna - which is totally lame.

Nice vid! The gladiator is the perfect combination if you love wrangler and Ram 1500, plus endless possibilities for personalization.

I bought the Gladiator because I wanted a bed and the ability to take the doors and roof off, I wanted the solid front axle and lockers. I use mine for overlanding/camping and hitting the trails. Most people who buy the other trucks, dont really do much besides mall crawl in them. They buy the 4x4 for the appearance package and traction control.
