It's crazy how murder doesn't phase anyone. Layla freaking out was first time someone thought about the consequences of murder. It usually passes really fast after someone is murdered whether if they knew them well or not. Then for the people that find out about it at school it's never that big of a deal. It shows you how society works in this universe.
