These 20 incredible building demolitions are absolutely mind-blowing! The precision and power involved in bringing down massive structures are both fascinating and a little terrifying. It’s amazing to watch, but also a reminder of how quickly something so big can be reduced to rubble

The first video was not a natural gas storage tank. It was a water cooling tower.

Seeing the grey smoke reminds me of 9/11, from the twin towers collapsing, rest in peace for the people who died that day

Amazing when you think how long they took to build. I am involved the electricity industry and we are demolishing all our coal fired power stations here in the UK. The one at 07.10 in this video is one of them and I used to live close to it. The last coal fired power station in the UK in operation closed on 30 September 2024 after nearly 55 years and they ran the turbines pouring the coal into the boilers until the last second. They are as old as I am and it's a bittersweet feeling as I come to end of my career seeing them fall one by one. They will drop the last one as I retire but a few people are thinking we should retain a few of the cooling towers as a monument to our industrial heritage. I agree.

No. 18. Controlled demolition, falls into its own footprint. Now where have I seen something like that before?

When a building doesn’t get hit by a airplane because it got shot down, you have to use controlled demolition anyway to get rid of all the rigging that would remain, rigging for all to see.

The VERY sad thing about demolitions are how long it took to first create and build these architectural creations; sweat and long hours for construction workers to build only to be destroyed!

Thanks for not saying "implosion".

Hey Licet : Don't you realize that half of your clips don't match the title?
... and there's nothing "incredible" about any of them -- they went off as planned for, and exactly expected.

#13 at 5:40 That bridge looks like it would fall down if you drove a big rig across it.
