CHON - Bubble Dream Intro // guitar tutorial // hybrid picking

Thought I'd drop this video on the introduction to Bubble Dream by Chon. I tried to make it as quick as possible while still taking time to explain the fingering and how everything should be picked. This riff is super fun to play and there was a time that when I sat down with the guitar it's all I could play!

CHON does use a fair bit of hybrid picking in their songs, and it's really hard to get it down at fast speeds.

This is a great video but the actual song uses no hybrid picking. I honestly feel like doing hybrid picking only complicates the song even more due to the speed of the song.

its much harder than this and youre doing it wrong. you need to hold the C the entire time, keeping the middle finger on 8 the entire time makes it difficult. If you dont do it youre just wrong. Why are you making a tutorial? this is incredibly unhelpful for anyone taking this seriously
