This well-considered model directly engages local community participation, resulting in a successful, cost effective long-term protection of the restored sites.

The Mangrove Action Project (MAP) is dedicated to reversing the degradation and loss of mangrove forests. These unique coastal ecosystems linking land and sea, play a vital role in helping to keep our planet healthy.
