Quick question the kick returner for punt returner have to touch the football before they can get laid out, right? They cant get hit like that before the ball reaches them? Also to call a fair catch all they have to do is raise their hand in the air?

When you are a kicking team member, you can never interfere with the return man’s opportunity to catch the kicked ball. That’s a big penalty, 15 yards. If the return man is signal for a fair catch, you can never interfere with the fair catch, that’s a fair catch interference penalty resulted 15 yards.
