Le sue pareti sono quasi 100 mt., il canale è lungo 6,3 km., largo 23 mt., profondo fino a 8 mt. E’ presente un piccolo parcheggio in entrambe le direzioni che consente di fermarsi per le foto d’obbligo del canale. Da Atene a Corinto in autostrada sono circa 80 km.
