Great video! An additional inventory hotkey is holding CONTROL and left-clicking in an empty inventory (or storage) slot. This allows you to store/take ALL items from/into the inventory/storage.

This helps a ton when you first go out to planets and don't have interplanetary transport ships yet. Allows you to quickly dump your inventory in a temporary chest, fly to the colony planet, grab a full inventory worth of goods, and come back.

5:04 the distance between the input and ouput matter, this means they will move faster the closer the end is to the start so you want your belt the closet possible to the exit to have max speed

At 5:10, the sorters unload faster when they have less distance between the storage and the belts.

Holy crap!! I didn't realize that icon in your inventory sorted it all, or you can just... delete items....i mean, obviously i see that now you can! But... like WHY DIDN'T I REALIZE THAT!? I ACCIDENTLY DELETE STUFF ALL THE TIME!!

You need a ton of stone early to mid game, yes then you need a planet or 10 of stone in the late game... I was lazy to start off with and only shipped raw stone because it was my least used resource so shipping it wasn't a big deal and I found a planet in another star system relatively close by with stone vains which were 6.5 million, and was like I will never need to touch this again, THANKS GREEN CUBES!!! because I wanted to make 12 Green cubes per second I needed stone to make glass to make titanium glass etc to make green cubes.

I was using 4 mk 3 conveyer belts worth of stone, still all from the same planet, but I maxed out the logistic capability of 1 interstellar logistics station without getting to white cubes. Second game I learned my lesson and smelted the stone into glass before transport, as the same amount only needs 2 mk 3 conveyer belts, everything else that needs stone is relatively low volume apart from sulfuric acid, but I scoop that up directly rather than making it, because making a large amount of sulfuric acid is a pain in the ass.

The first tip... JESUS DUDE (while yes it is more "efficient" to use other materials it still is nice to use them and grab a chance to grab crystals off the ground. Plus they are just in the way so might as well remove them from both your inventory and imo inventory is more important than saving tress and bushes :/)

Hit the TAB while placing the splitter. It gives you extra splitter layouts! But honestly, i could not make up any use case for those.

ok just got the game, have been playing for about 6 hours, stopped for 2 hours, then started up and thought I would look for tips and tricks, thinking I would not find any, as it's a new game BUT HolySh*t so much I needed to know but what is so special about 00042069? I might restart my map if it's good enough.
