So nineteen ninety something, my mom bought a new PC and got me this game. We had this…and encarta encyclopedia. We stayed up to the wee hours of the morning on the night she brought it home, searching stuff on encarta and going back and forth to deer Hunter where tried to teach me to hunt and be patient.

This game is associated with one of my absolute fondest memories. Thank you so much for uploading this! ❤

17:42 I have vivid memories of putting up a tree stand on a ridge like this in the winter setting, and just looking out across the valley. The humming white noise of the breeze just added to how cold it looked and ‘felt’. To this day my brain goes back to this when I step outside in the winter/fall and all is still except for the sound of nothing in the cold.

I remember my father would play this with me and my sister when we where little. This game was just so entertaining with the sound effects. pretty sure I just spammed the antlers and the spray. Lol. My father had little speakers set up so we could hear the steps as the deer came close. So much fun! Thanks for posting this!

I used to watch my brother play this game a lot back on the PC... Whenever I would make a noise he would tell me to be quiet because the deer could hear me! lol

Oh my god I remember everything. This was a GOOD game. I remembered putting in cheat codes like dh2deerzilla that made the bucks HUGE and even walk towards your location without fear. Then there were the cheat codes that let you “fly” and run fast... I spent so much time playing this game.
