Paramount fixed the problems with Sonic The Hedgehog. They delayed it, fixed Sonic's design, and it ended up being pretty good.
Warner Bros and Disney and possibly a lot of other studios, are just screwing themselves over. They just do not know what they are doing period. They can't hire the right people, can't write a story, can't come up with original ideas and just hop onto the live action remake or video game movie train. Everything is just so boring and bland now and you have to essentially go digging to find any decent movie now. You're better off with watching old classics and not all these new flashy and unoriginal movies from studios that just want your money now.

I think one of the biggest issues--certainly fir me--is that they made Steve into this buffoon. He's STEVE! He's THE character in Mine raft and you get this teenage girl rolling her eyes in the trailer and calling him a tool-bag! WTF?! Do they have to denigrate everything? Do we need another teenage girl talking smack on a main character? It's disgusting.

Jack Black was someone once. He was an idol to many kids in the 90s and 2000s. Sadly like many good actors and actresses, he has fallen and lost his grace. The man has become just another corporate clown of the woke elites ruining Hollywood and erasing decades of American history.

y'all wouldn't it be so cool if the producers and screenwriters actually stayed true to the original characters they're based on for once?

like imagine if steve was mute. he doesn't talk in the game. he shouldn't talk in the movie. he's resourceful, smart, strong, and incredibly battle-worthy. he's stiff and doesn't really understand social interaction, as he's never encountered PEOPLE before, and isn't really sure what to do, or how to act. maybe he even attacks them at first, as he sees them as a potential threat. he teaches them what his world is like and how to survive in it through BODY LANGUAGE and actions. he isn't a bumbling fat oaf with a greying, messy beard who's loud and obnoxious and "funny". in fact, he's the most serious character in the movie. maybe he grows confused at what humor even is. maybe this group of people show him what it's like to have emotions and be, well, human. it's a slow process, but eventually he smiles when someone cracks an off-handed joke, or he makes an effort to bond with someone.

most important part? HE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE STEVE. seriously, this movie had so much potential. been in the works for ten years, and this is the final product? storymode did it so much better. i miss when studios actually cared about the quality of their films, and actors didn't blame the fans (the TARGET AUDIENCE) for backlash of BAD MOVIES.

Jack is more fit to play VA for animated characters more than he is suited for live action nowadays, he did great with bowser, but all of his recent live movies have sucked

lets be real, even if they managed to fix steve, do they really believe that people will come to watch the moviie after their main star blamed the fans on the backlash? just cancel this movie, fire the problematic people and make it an animated movie like it should have been from the start.

Its sad, jack use to be unstoppable. He can be a great voiceover actor, i loved that he played browser, thought he did a great job doing so. Then, he became political. Just like Mark hammel. And became a big baby.
