MCSA 70-410: 11 Deploy Wallpaper Using Group Policy

In this Video we will see how to use Group Policy to configure Desktop Wallpaper in Windows Server 2012 R2. The policy configures same wallpaper on all user desktop. This is just a basic example, more detailed advanced group policy settings will be cover in upcoming group policy videos.

For people getting a black background, you probably used something like D:\Wallpaper instead of \\DC01\Wallpaper, the client knows \\DC01\ but doesn't know D:\, only the server knows that.

I found where I made the error, to those who are getting black screen wallpaper like I did. Check your wallpaper path make sure it's correct e.g if this is not correct you get black wallpaper screen hope this helps.

I have found that when administrative share is used ($ in front of the shared path). Only administrators can access that shared folder across the network

you didn't assign that to the user, you assign the wallpaper to the machine
