PC Doom II: First secret exit/secret level

Reveals where and how to access the exit that leads to the first secret level in PC Doom II: Hell on Earth. Note that the original German editions of PC Doom II do not include secret levels.

Note that you don't necessarily have to pick up the Invulnerability Sphere itself (seen at about 28s in the video), but the secret-exit pathway is opened by stepping onto the small rectangular platform where it rests.

0:11 - Yellow key acquired
0:23 - Switch opens tunnel
0:28 - Step on center platform
0:31 - Secret exit is now open
0:40 - Yellow key opens door
0:44 - Passage to secret exit

For anyone playing the GBA version, the secret level exit is in "Industrial Zone B". Take the level exit out of "Industrial Zone A". Kill the demons and everything in Zone B, and be sure to grab the computer area map in one of the areas behind a yellow key door. The map will reveal a hidden passage inside the building where you found it. Hit the switch located on the platform in the center of the lava (it has a radiation suit and a bulk cell pack on it). Go back through the yellow key door where you found the computer map, and follow the map down the lava river and into the newly revealed area. The Wolfenstein teleporter awaits.

Today I was trying to access this level in Doom 2, bundled with the Doom 3 RoE's Xbox disc. It took me over 30 minutes! Of course I have accessed this level numerous times in my life, however today I had some problems. The secret passage opened after I got closer to the normal exit. I was shocked. Maybe it was the same way as it is in Doom 64, when the secret exits are accessible only after you complete the majority of the level in a normal way.

Oh now I get it - saw the description. That lava room is also essential. Bummer.
