Metal Detecting in the Netherlands NR63

Me and my detecting buddies had a long metal-detecting weekend in the South of the Netherlands. I wasn't so lucky with the finds but my buddies did some amazing finds. And Aart found his first gold. Enjoy the video.

Hi! I think your channel is really interesting. You seem like a genuinely good person and you make some amazing finds. Really amazing finds. May I give you a suggestion? I think the thing that would make your channel so much more popular is if you told the story. I think you and the argent detectorist both have the potential to be huge, but what you mistake is that you think people are here to see the finds but they’re really here for the emotion of it- which people connect to with stories. Look at the Hoover Boys or Nicola white mud lark. You find better stuff but they tell the story, the story of their hunt. How they got the permission. Who they were with. How excited they were when they found it. And especially the story of the artifact. I’m a detectorist and you know the feeling. We aren’t out there for money, we’re there for that connection to the people of the past. On a side note- I have a YouTube channel about mental health called therapy in a nutshell. It has around 200k subs and the best videos are always the ones that tell a story. I think you have the potential to multiply your channel by 100 if you spend more time telling the story of your finds. Also check out terra Germania
