In 1987, the RUF CTR appeared, which at the time was described as the fastest production car in the world. With the speed of 339 kilometers per hour, the super sports car nicknamed "Yellowbird" outperformed competing vehicles from renowned manufacturers, including Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. 30 years later, the successor to the cult car was presented: the CTR Anniversary. The report tells the story of the classic car and shows the creation of the small-series super sports car.

In the 80s, countless times I read that Road and Track top speed article featuring the RUF Yellowbird. Legendary. This new one appears to be spectacular. Can you imagine how wild it would be to drive that monster? Over 700 hp, 2700lbs, rear engine and rear drive, that is lovely.
