I'm sorry, but the hymn does not have a sound that would encourage Filipinos to sing it. The lyrics also suggest that Filipino culture is damaged. I have yet to see progress and development in all aspects under the current government. Discipline is at its worst nowadays, as seen in both the executive and legislative branches. We hear no return on investments from the billions of aid distributed by lawmakers led by Tamba et al. The aid seems more like election support for traditional politicians. I cannot imagine the funds wasted by Congress to bring all the congressmen to Davao just to show force. The promise of 20 pesos per kilo of rice is just a dream, and we're hearing criticism about LAM's behavior, which we did not hear from the ladies of PRRD. What is happening to the country? Why have a new hymn and pledge when the "Lupang Hinirang, " "Panatang Makabayan, " and "Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno" are more than enough?
