Inside an Abandoned T-55 Tank

On one of my recent drives I spotted this T-55 tank which is supposed to be a memorial but it looks completely abandoned. The site in question is located in the town of Škabrnja (Croatia) which saw one of the worst killings of civilians in the Croatia War of Independence.

It look like the whole unit of tank are still intact, well if the country of origin would possibly interested to resurrect and restore the tank, i think its not so hard for all the Russian made tanks are well convenient in terms of restoration, and even that old 100mm tank gun turret are no longer working, it could be possibly replace and mounted by a more applicable, more modernize and more powerful type of 105mm Rifled tank.gun, in order to become more adaptable to a modern military warfare, same with the functionality of modern light tanks and medium tanks today.
