Mountbatten agreed and understood india as a Hindu nation and Pakistan a Muslim nation . He handed power to Nehru as per Hindu tradition using Sengol. India was made a secular country under congress whose top leaders are a secular family

In Maharashtra he is revered as revolutionary freedom fighter, an author, a poet, a strategist, who thought only about his country. The CBSE curriculum has a fraction of the history and does not acknowledge many freedom fighters while acknowledging Mughal and other rulers.
