It also alleviates the amount of work and lowers the skill level required for your system administrators and engineers. I used to volunteer at FreeGeek in Portland, OR. I built my first computer there, and my first OS was Linux RedHat. This is like 2002. As much as I rely on MS, I still miss the intuitive nature of the Linux OS. Why, you ask, do I use MS? Because, as a professional musician, I need an OS that will support industry standard music recording & production software. When I can run Digital Performer or Reason on Linux, and I say sucessfully so (with no errors), I will return to Linux. Peace

Free Linux does NOT cost more. I NEVER had to pay for support, cloud storage (ubuntu one) or anything like that. I just burnt it to a usb, installed it myself, then looked up HOW to fix problems I had on forums, not paid support...

I think is ridiculous that Redhat is trying to attack free software Linux Distributions! What money can do to people... Linux is free and will always be!!! You should target commercial non open platforms like Windows, AIX, HPUX, Solaris, VMware...
