Department of Health acknowledges role of traditional medicine on the continent

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority is developing guidelines for the registration of traditional medicine products. A tradition that was used for centuries African Traditional Medicines is still recognised and the Department of Health acknowledges the role of traditional medicine on the continent and its contribution to the development of healthcare globally.
