Gumdrop Bracelet - Advanced Design on the Rainbow Loom

This is by far one of the most appealing rainbow loom bracelets I have ever come across. It is a hybrid stitch which alternates with 2 bands looped like a quadfish and 2 bands looped with a new type of looming coined the "switch loop" which is a technique invented by Joyce at Yarn Journey.

Official Rainbow Loom Metal Hooks:

Each "gum drop" in this bracelet takes 4 bands (2 color and 2 non color). Each gumdrop measures 1/4th of an inch(.25). To calculate the number of gum drops, just take the length of your wrist in inches and multiply it by 4.

For everyone who feels like giving up because they cannot figure this out, keep trying and be patient. That's what I do every time I make a bracelet out of bands. I even do so when they break. My secret: be patient and never give up. After all, good things come to those who wait, or in this case, don't quit. You can do this. Just keep trying. You will succeed in finishing eventually. I have been looming for a while, and that seems to work every time. I did that when I made my snake belly bracelet, and now I have a pretty sweet snake belly bracelet that I can wear whenever I want. So never give up that's the key. Because if you do, you'll end up regretting it later and wishing you hadn't quit. It took me 3 tries to make that snake belly bracelet, but I did it, and now I can wear it whenever and wherever I want. I hope this helps. You're welcome. Enjoy!!!

i'm legit trying to do this with 4 crayons and a pencil- 💀💀 edit: progress so far, not very good; my nails are screaming at me to stop and i accidentally broke a band half way there

This one was definitely harder than some others I’ve done. I have done harder but this one took me like 2, 3, or 4 tries to get. I made two and this design looked great! Also great tutorial.
