Accurate for modern kendamas. If you are dedicated and have a good teacher or group of friends to play with. You can easily pass all of these tricks in a year. Ive seen it happen with plenty of people.

Just started playing again after like 6 years of not playing. I can't even describe how frustrating it is to not be able to do what I used too. So satisfying when I get an old trick back. To me kendama is the same as skateboarding. And also that's a sexy kendama haha. Just stain it dark brown and ooooh😮

Yeah the cups are easy but for all the stuff on the first day that came after that took me 2 days. Of consistent practicing. If you do everything up until the lighthouse than anything that is before it should be muscle memory.
