LAUTERBRUNNEN, Mürren WINTER Wonderland Villages SWITZERLAND

The Lauterbrunnen valley is one of the most fascinating regions in Switzerland. The valley has 72 waterfalls and attracts numerous visitors every year. The village of Lauterbrunnen is in particular beautiful during Winter. Most of the waterfalls are frozen and the houses covered with snow. This makes the whole region to a Winter Wonderland. Mürren is a less-visited but also wonderful alpine village that looks the nicest during Winter! Both Lauterbrunnen and Mürren can be easily combined in a one day visit. Lauterbrunnen is quickly explored, there are a few photospots to go to. Mürren is a car-free village that is notably snowier but also more quiet. Visit the Allmendhubel by ascending via funicular to go for sledding. The track is very enjoyable, it takes around 20 minutes to reach again the village of Mürren. All in all, the entire region is very charming during Winter and is considered one of the best places to be visited during the cold season in the Swiss Alps!
Flying a drone in Lauterbrunnen and Mürren requires a permit. A very easy and great drone is the DJI MINI 3 that is perfect for beginners. It’s light, it only weighs 249g and records brilliant HDR footage in 4K and 1080p format. Be aware of the many paragliders up in Mürren and in the entire Lauterbrunnen valley.

We have been to this region 3x. Twice in Sept and once last month June. Enjoyed it every time. Stayed in Wengen and Murren. Great for walking. We won’t return in June because too many flies - not so bad up in the Jungfrau region but quite bad in the Bernese Oberland like Meiringen.

Which month was this video taken? We must return in winter at least once for the snow although we are not skiers. Thanks for another great video.

SO beautiful!! Excellent video, I've never seen Lauterbrunnen or Murren in the winter. (just an idea, put bright orange tape or orange paint on your new drone to help see it better since it does not have sensor. )

Hey Djemo - again fantastic footage of Lauterbrunnen. We are heading exactly to this place (Camping Jungfrau) in July and already very excited. That call you made before taking your dji mini 3 pro to the skies, can you confirm who that was to? I am planning to register with the EU authorities before our trip, but know that ordinarily the campsite at Lauterbrunnen is a no fly zone, due to local helicopter pad, I believe...
