The Periodic Table

The organization of the Periodic Table of Elements is explained through this video. Students can color code their own Periodic Table as I describe each group, their properties, and the number of valence electrons. We will talk about metals, metalloids, and nonmetals. Students will learn how Chemistry was a mess before Mendeleev set out to organize chemistry, the Father of the Periodic Table. And how now, because of the modern-day Periodic Table, chemistry just makes sense.
