MK7 GTI XForce Turbo-back Exhaust w/ Varex Muffler - PURE SOUND
Показать описание
I haven’t seen many videos about this system for the MK7 GTI’s, so here’s one with the sound clips I would want to hear.
XForce turbo-back exhaust for my 2017 MK7 GTI
- 3” high-flow downpipe paired with 3” cat-back with Varex muffler
(the cat-back comes with a straight pipe and a resonator. I have the straight pipe installed for the extra sound. Yes it drones)
Owner notes & explanations:
The closed position isn’t meant to be driven at high rpms under load. That’s why you’ll hear that “airy” noise from the exhaust. It’s so quiet during regular driving though, it sounds quieter than stock in the cabin and not much louder from the outside. The 50% position sounds similar to the open position. The only difference is that it doesn’t drone on the highway or during regular driving. Full open has a deep, raspy tone and you can hear the turbo noises pretty well too.

This system that I have is the older one with the remote control (hold A for open & hold B for close). You could totally press either button multiple times to cycle through the valve positions for different volume levels (25% - 75%) but it’s hard to tell which position it’s in. The newer, updated version includes the bluetooth smartbox that let’s you control the exhaust from your phone. I think it comes with the remotes too, which is nice.
Mods:
- XForce downpipe
- XForce cat-back
- IE v2 cold air intake
- IE stage 2 high-torque ECU tune w/ TCU tune
- H&R springs
- rotiform RSE 18x8.5 +35mm
- aerofabb front splitter
- maxton design rear diffuser
- Oettinger style carbon fiber spoiler
- golf R style headlights
- some OBDeleven mods
