2015: Riot-"No, we don't want voice chat, no matter how much the playerbase asks, voice chat is TOXIC!"

2016 (Overwatch launchs): Riot-"Oh, we think Voice chat its a incredible idea and we will implement right away!"

Voice chat in league would be actually good since my fucking team won't be stopping every 2 sec to type some stupid shit and get killed while texting.

If you get flamed for not using it just say "No mic" or something. There should be an option where we can just listen and not talk and a mute mechanic too.

I really don't want VC: People will be able to say anything, so that means lots of inappropriate stuff I REALLY don't want to hear. And if I don't want to use it, then I'll have a significant disadvantage, since voice communication makes working as a team far easier. And, as a girl, I probably won't even be able to use it unless I want to be constantly bombarded by sexual messages.

The bad thing is that we will keep hearing people shouting and insulting just like csgo but the good thing is that it will encourage people more to mute toxic players

Often times, voice chat encourages trolling, getting a negative reaction in chat is not the same as hearing a 10-year-old burst out in tears. I see this problem in CSGO, often times the younger players either get picked on or harassed in game (Team killing) because it's quite humorous to hear their reactions. And I wont lie, I'll probably make a bronze smurf just to witness some of these reactions

The reason to implement this now, when they haven't tried before, is the new dynamic queue system. Because the #1 advantage the groups have over solo players is better communication (probably through curse, discord, or skype) helping the solo player find friends to queue up with or help make plays happen in a 3 premade team or a solo player

nicer to people if you have voice chat ? look at CS : GO the first second the match start i hear a screaming kid raging already with his crappy microphone

I don't know how I feel about voice chat, the third party chat programs work amazingly, and something like Curse has a huge following. That being said, I do like the idea of coordinating with your ranked team so you don't all flounder around and make silly mistakes that could be fixed with a simple "Hey. Be careful, don't go there." or just asking to Ward. Great vid, Jeremy. :D
