How to Play KeyForge

It’s time to open the vault! In this week’s How to Play, host Becca Scott teaches KeyForge by Fantasy Flight Games! In this deck game, players become an Archon using a unique set of cards to craft keys to open the vault.


Tabletop games are super fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Becca Scott is your game tutor, explaining the game mechanics in an easy to follow way, so you can get to playing the games faster.

Small Corrections/clarifications:
-"REAP" and "ACTION" are entirely seperate ways to " USE" creature cards. Doing any action that "uses" a creature or artifact exhasts that card. Doing an action does not net the player any effects in addition to those printed on the card.
- If you have a card of a house not on your identity card in your hand or battlefield, you can name that house to use and play that turn. You may also name no house to do nothing if forced to by card effects.

You know what i dislike about this How To Play series? No equivalent of Quickmatch. There are stuffs you cant teach without giving the students examples
