A garage B&K 1450 oscilloscope: Does it live?

I got my hands on a B&K 1450 'scope garage find. Probe included but no manuals, schematics or anything like that. Usually, I wouldn't apply power until it had its tubes tested and been re-capped. But here I throw caution to the wind and plug it in through a Variac. Watch and see what happens. Or doesn't.
