As a landscaper I have found this tool to be indispensable for all my paving needs. It's expensive (Grabo Pro) but, IMHO, worth the cost as it makes the lifting of heavy pavers so much easier. Installing large-format porcelain slabs can be a pain without the Grabo especially where the fit is too tight and you cannot use your fingers to lay the slab. Again, it is expensive but I would be lost without this great and useful tool. Thanks Grabo.😉👍

I originally bought the first grabo after seeing at Lowes - thinking I would probably be returning it. Its an absolute game changer for me. Use it for tile setting. So much easier easier and faster than my old suction cups. I now also now have the pro version. Love this thing.

New "pro" Grabo has only ONE battery and a soft case vs the original Grabo which had a hard case and TWO batteries. For the guys doing tile setting I would say the hard case would be a better choice since, as you can see by the tile guy videos, their Grabo is covered in thinset. As such their tool case is likely to have some dust or thinset on it so the case would clean easier if it were hard not soft. What is Grabo charging for an additional battery? I do see it on the website but no indication of pricing.
The auto feature is handy especially with material that is somewhat porous. Since this is kind of a niche product I do think the add on options created by Izzy Swan are pretty good ideas to extend the use of this tool.
Funnily enough once the motor engages it sounds exactly like my foodsaver vacuum sealer.

This is THE promo video that comes up first when I google grabo pro. According to the specs it has a lifting capacity of 170kg but in this video I didn't see it lift anything heavier than about 20-30 kg. Nobody is going to spend big dollars on a gadget to lift 5kg pavers or tiny wood panels. I want to see you hanging off a concrete ceiling trusting the grabo to hold your weight! I'm looking into the grabo because me and my team are installing 240kg 1m X 3m granite wall panels.

Can you use these for glass installation industry? Does it have a vacuum lost alarm like the Wood's vacuum lifters?

Make a version with Bosch AMPShare. Your proprietary batteries are hot garbage.
