Saxquest! Buffet R13 Clarinet in Bb SN 340219

This is a superb condition, professional model Buffet-Crampon R13 series Bb clarinet, serial number 340219.

This instrument shows no previous cracks or repairs, no chips to the wood. It features nickel plated keywork, which shows minimal finish wear from past use. It has been padded with cork pads in the top joint and skin pads in the bottom, and Audrey replaced all of the felt and cork work with better synthetic material. Sonically, this R13 plays with a very colorful sound and a very vibrant character. It is free blowing, yet keeps a strong focus.

Thank you for your comments Excellent. Jack McCaw was a very highly rated musician. In fact I have just seen his Hammerschmidt clarinets for sale today I believe the ones he recorded the banks of Greenwillow on with the London Philharmonic Orchestra which as you say he was principal many years ago in as well as the Philharmonia Orchestra he is perhaps one of those musicians the general public do not know about but he was considered and musicians musicians and could do much with her clarinet. Yes he modified his brothers to play with a 926 mouthpiece There are so many clarinets out there today

Expert clarinetist you are. 3k dollars question. In your opinion does the Evette Schaeffer plays the same as the R13? Please I need to know.
