I have used YouTube for so many different things and today it made my day - ran the vinegar solution through it and drained and did again with plain water to make sure vinegar is out. I put my new bottle in and bingo - all set. Thank you for all the help on here !!

I've been debating on buy that very one (My Sam's Club has them). I am a bit discouraged, We (Wife & me) had a very pricey top load one, the hot water was barely warm and the "Ice Cold" was not, no colder then tap water.. I was impressed seeing the steam from the hot water button.. You never said how cold or not the ice cold was.. Could you please say if it does or not get very cold.. We enjoyed watching.. Thank you for sharing.. Also, we only use & drink spring water. We don't trust city water.. So on the one we used to have, I bought gallons of Ice Mountain spring water and poured them into the 5 gal one to use.. We gave it to our daughter our grandchildren love it..

Please read this: this is a quick hack to fix your Primo cold water no flow problem. Good luck. First, these Primo water dispensers have a defective cold water thermostat. These $2 thermostats won't shut off, causing the water to freeze and no water flow. If you unplug it, the ice will melt, and water will flow.
The hack is: I bought a wall socket timer. I set it to turn on during daytime hours. I set it on a repeating cycle for one hour ON, two hours OFF. This works great. You can adjust your timer ON time accordingly to the amount of cold water used. Give me a THUMPS UP if you like this ideal !!!

Does it matter if the jug has the thread on it or just the lip for the lid? Is the cap for the top universal?
