The world's richest people own half the world's wealth and the gap between the rich and the poor is expanding, says global financial services company Credit Suisse. But real estate may improve the balance slightly for those who can afford it.

Really stop a second to think about this, on how unreal it is, we humans organize ourselves in a way in which the product of our labor ends up in just some guys hands. We are all part of this resource generation, we break our backs all year long, and not only does a good chunk of our rewards go to another guy, WE ACTUALLY DEFEND THE GUY. World's richest people also own all of the jobs, invest in advancements, donate the most to charity, pay the most taxes, and earned every dollar fair and square or they would be criminals. CBC wouldn't ever bother mentioning that though.
