I like the sound of it, it's a sign of life. It's just amazing how this little organ of ours works since it was made. It never stops moving once. It just goes on and on, beating in a steady rhythm.

If anyone is wondering why they like this sound, it's because, when you were just a baby you used to listen to your mother's heart beat, and you were all warm and comfortable in your mothers stomach, and I guess it's just very nostalgic of you to hear, that you just feel at ease when hearing it.

And, if you find it creepy, it's because you've seen too many horror movies.

I'm not sure why, but whenever I'm scared or nervous or something I focus on my heartbeat. I'll put my hand to my chest and just focus on trying to make my heartbeat as slow as possible. it's weird, but it's comforting.
