“ I’m an adult. I don’t need a curfew.” well then do what other adults do and move out so you don’t have to follow someone else’s rules.

This isn’t about a bad economy or about multigenerational living (which I personally think is awesome!). This is about faith, morals, values, entitlement, laziness, work ethic, respect, honor, kindness, decency, purpose, world views, etc.

Good lord. I don’t understand these people AT ALL. I’ve worked my butt off since I was 16. My parents would never have allowed this. In fact, we just bought my father-in-laws house and he now lives with us because of his medical issues. Our parents raised us to be self sufficient. And now it’s time to return the favor.

When that guy said that the grandfather wakes up every morning at 6 o’clock & he decides to do dishes while we’re sleeping in the living room. I mean, you could get up & wash dishes and then he wouldn’t have to wash them at six in the morning while you’re trying to sleep THEIR living room. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I never expected to not work. There's no choice about it. You work. You take any job you can find, even if it might not be the one you want. You get your foot in the door, build up experience, have a good work record and build on it. It's being an adult in your life. My mom always said she would be there for her children and I knew I would have a home if needed. It was nice to know, but I never thought of it as an option.

Do what you want people… but don’t have children if you can’t even support yourself!

Sell the couch, TV and video games. Run out of food. Keep nothing in the fridge to snack on. Drink tap water, no sodas ever. Let the dishes pile up. And STILL kick 'em out on Day 30!

She needs to find a job and daycare. She picked a man that was an underachiever or she needs to divorce! She’s not doing her job at home either if mom is taking care of the baby!

The fact that the mom say she loves him like one of her sons after they said he’s hit her! On top of being lazy! Wtf!

I’m 27 and still live with my parents, but I still help around the house, work/finding a job, and clean up after myself. When I turned 18, my parents told me that I can stay as long as I need, all I needed to do was go to university or find a job. I went to University, and worked. It’s hard to find a job now and being Neurodivergent (I’m Autistic/ADHD) makes job finding much harder and they understand, but I still keep searching and applying, I even do Vocational Rehab.

As a woman, I believe it is both parents 100% responsibility to take care of their family. It feels like everyone is expecting the father to carry more than the mother. The baby mother herself is lazy in this case. Both need to go out and live on the street if that is what they afford. The whole family sound weird and messed up.

As a 23 yr Old who lives at home it's hard to afford a place on your own. I pay rent ect. Work 45 + hrs. There's a difference between being a mooch and the economy being terrible.

Why is the baby in daycare if he's home all day? What a waste of money.

My husband is currently in between jobs, but he is still paying more than half the bills while I’m going to school full time and working.
We live on our own STILL and he takes care of anything and everything around the house.
We have no children and he’s patient and understanding.
He cooks, he cleans, he looks after our pets, does the yard work, everything I could ask for to help me.
There’s nothing wrong with being in between jobs, but you still have ‘work’ and be on your own.
Be an adult and independent no matter what happens in your life.

My mother treated me as an unpaid laundry service, cleaning service, yard service, cook, and bottle washer. I'm had to cook meals to be served at 6pm even if I had to be at work st 5pm. And there were four people in the house besides me. I could not wait to get out. And when I went back to visit my folks, my mother figured that if she delivered orders, I would carry them out. She learned how far that would get her the hard way.
