Показать описание
In October 2011, Professor Dan Costa of UC Santa Cruz and his team of intrepid researchers traveled to Antarctica to tag and study Weddell seals, the southernmost mammal in the world. The satellite tags will allow Costa to remotely track the seals for up to nine months as they dive more than a 1000 feet in frigid waters in search of food.
