“I don’t usually do that when i am on earth”

What a profound statement that only a few people get to make.

"hey Mike. Soo before we start, we need to film you for a couple minutes. It's real simple. Just sit still while we film you at 9 different angles. Do your best not to react. Oh yea, were gonna be dimming the lights about 24 different times."

It really made me emotional when he said that he dreams about going back into space and going on one more space walk. I can't imagine how it must feel to have done all of that and then spend the rest of your life grounded on earth.

I love how casual he says “If you are ever in space” like it’s something that you could just randomly find yourself doing.

Girlfriend: Why do you sleep with a stuffed animal still?
Me: Mission comes first, it’s an essential item.

3:59 “So I would set my sleeping bag up on the ceiling so I could sleep up there like I was a bat. I thought that was kind of cool.” I love this guy so much. Just goes to show that you can be an adult with an insanely serious job, and still have childlike fun.

EDIT: Thanks so much for all the likes! ❤️

EDITED EDIT: *Beware, some flat earther started a war in the replies.*
