As a Linux user, this feature was added in xorg in 1994

“This is a MacBook.”

Thanks for clearing that up - I almost thought it was a refrigerator for a second!

It never ceases to amaze me that on apple related videos there are many people from the Linux or android community that will come and say that feature x already exists in Linux. They hate Apple elitists, and, anecdotally it’s hard to find those people, but then the same Linux people that hate it show that same snobbery. This is coming from someone that loves macOS and Linux. Use the tool that you feel most comfortable with, that you like using, and gets the jobs done. Simple as that.

Three-finger drag is the MOST UNDERRATED

Linux came from Unix, the backbone of macOS. So in hindsight, these features are incredibly old 😂

you can achieve that with one terminal command:

defaults write -g NSWindowShouldDragOnGesture -bool true

reboot and then you can cmd + ctrl + click on any part of a window to move it.

to disable it type the same command only replacing "true" with "false".

the best feature i found but barely anyone uses is hot corners and it really helps me to organise my desktop quickly. I set a keybind that you have to hold to trigger it so it doesn’t mess with games. Also is a great way to quickly lock your mac.

As a non Apple user, I have to applaud them, they're very good at creating a problem and then fixing it for a hefty price making customers think their innovation is revolutionary 😂👏

Is that Obsidian I see right there? If you've got Obsidian, then you're a legend.

On my opinion that feature is required for Windows users, we usually don’t drag windows, we use fullscreen mode and swipe the trackpad between them, it’s way better
