Awesome content brother! I finished Fusion strike as a master set, such a big set. I placed them in a top deck 1000 binder, such a huge binder but I love seeing the cards side by side

I had a whole stack of Original Pokemon cards like back in 2005, I took care of them too. Then a school assistant supervising the lunch room ripped them all in half 🥺😤. I'm starting again especially the Original no matter the condition. Good thing there is a lot of new sets I can start from too. Thanks for the info by the way 😊

I know this video is over 2 years old now but this info is so helpful! Decided to pursue complete sets instead of master sets (basically just not counting reverse holos), since master sets seem like a pain when making a binder selection lol.

I agree with everything you are saying. I must be on the right track on completing a master set. But, I do keep mine in a Staples Standard ring binder, Dragon Shield sleeves, and ultra pro pages.

Great video - I've been mainly collecting PSA 9 chase cards but I recently was reminded of how good some of the common/uncommon cards looked from my childhood. Hence, I'm trying to now collect master sets of some of the cards I grew up with and despite being back in the hobby for quite a few years, I found this video really helpful. Thank you!

Its interesting hearing the different definitions of sets/master sets/grandmaster sets. Its nice hearing a set definition as just the cards in the set list and the reverse/normal/all versions of the card aren't necessarily part of a master set. I'm curious how you like the banded not zipfolio kind of binders though 👀

There are 4 levels of completion to a set

Base set - all normal EX and reversals.
Full set - All secret rares
Master set - All promos
Grandmaster set - EVERYTHING

I put the reverse hollo and normal in the same spot, the reverse hollo on top. But master set I count with alternative arts that some are promos that were removed from the set and some even from stamped cards like pre release ones or even the tournament that I put in the set
