500 GRAMS OF PEARL BARLEY SOAKED IN WATER FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE, NEXT DAY DRAIN THE WATER , WASH AND COVER WITH WATER AND BRING IT TO BOIL AND THEN SIMMER AND COOK IT , ONCE COOKED, DRAIN IT, AND LEAVE TO COOL DOWN.
THEN GO AHEAD AND ADD IN .i.e
