Knife deployment from concealment is so complex. Before we can even get to Filipino Martial Arts techniques, we gotta get that knife out first. How do it safely and with so many considerations to take into account is going to take a bit of time. This video is over 10 minutes and long doesn't even begin to scratch the surface...but I hope it is a good enough start to get you going with your training. In application...well, good luck with that.

It would be very wise for you not to consider this a self defense video but rather as a quick guide to get you started. If you're reading this...I just want to say that I appreciate you. You're digging deeper than most people who are sometimes satisfied enough to just read the headlines. You are exactly who I make these videos for!

Nice Video.
In my humble opinion, the draw of the knife is underrated in most training. I would outline to start slow and progress with the gain of routine.
I spend most my draw-training for beeing in confined space, like beeing pushed against a wall or surrounded by aggressors. And from close covers like protecting myself beeing beaten up by multiple opponents.
Just some ideas.

Kind regards.

Accessing the weapon(pistol, rifle, knife, Lucile) is something that should be trained meticulously and frequently, both in a sterile environment and under duress. Stress inoculation is so underrated in self defense training.
