BREAKING NEWS: NewsNation has learned a suspect was arrested in Pennsylvania in the early hours of Friday, Dec. 30 in connection with the brutal November stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students in Moscow, Idaho.

On Nov. 13, 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, 21-year-old Madison Mogen, 20-year-old Xana Kernodle and 20-year-old Ethan Chapin were found dead in their rental home near campus.

If you watched the chief of police yesterday, he couldn’t stop smiling and of course saying they were going to clean the house was the second clue that a big announcement would come soon. You don’t clean the house unless you have your suspect. I am so relieved for the families and the community.

It was stated in the beginning that the 2 girls celebration of life for the two girls the family had said that they didn't want to do that until there was a suspect under arrest because of fear that he might try to come to their celebration of life.. So I honestly believe the officers being tight-lipped is because they have been trying to build a solid case I think that they have known all along and I also think that the families have known That's why the celebration of life was scheduled for today.. just something about the confidence that I felt hearing the chief speak was telling for me .... 2 months is not a long time. Killers go on like this for years and years. So this is extremely fast, possibly with DNA still needing to be tested. I can't believe anything has happened this quickly.

I knew the police were doing their job all along! Everyone was being impatient and I understand the situation but it has only been two months not years. I'm happy, all the police, detectives and FBI deserve an apology the way the public was treating them. These men had many sleepless nights and worked hard on this case!!! 👏🏼 👏🏼💕

It blows my mind how people just assume stuff when the investigation has to be private to actually catch the suspect and charge them and have it actually hold up in court.
