This list doesn't take into account the need for medical care when you're retired. I know, for example, that St Lucia has no real hospital. For retirees, this is a huge factor for a decision where to move.

“There’s no income tax in St. Kitts and Nevis.” True, but American citizens still have to pay U.S. income taxes no matter where they live.

Thank-you ! These are all beautiful Islands, but you still have to have some big cash, and be careful about weather problems - the big Island of Crete has always interested me 👌

Can't believe you didn't mention dog Island in Bluff Harbour NZ.
The view of the aluminium smelter alone would appeal to retirees, especially those with respiratory conditions.

Sorry going to have to shout here. MALTA, NO NO NO! Good weather, relatively low crime but that's it!
Most densely populated country in mainland Europe is the Netherlands 530 people per square km. Malta has 1500 per square km.
Noise, pollution, corruption, mafia, bad infrastructure, constant discrimination against foreigners.
You would have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND to retire here.

With so many residents and so built up they do not seem like island. My home is on a small island with 14 residents... Bliss! There are many real islands off Ireland...

Corsica!!! Amazing beaches, amazing food, and real mountains plus the unique Corsican 'maquis'. Try it once, come back for a lifetime...
No concrete along the seashores as well, which is quite unique.

With the sea rising, I don’t want to retire nearby beaches 🤣. Coastal towns maybe ok, just pick higher grounds
