How to Decompile and Recompile APK Files for APK Modding / Hacking (Tutorial)

This is how to disassemble / decompile and extract source code (inline code) from APK files. You will not get the exact source code, but the code as it is sompiled by Android Stuio and as Android runs it.
This tutorial shows you how to decompile and recompile, but not how to mod code.
Also works for signed APKs and APK signing.

my problem is that when i turned in to .zip and then change for example a .png file and rename it with the original name, then i turned it back to .apk the apk dont work

How would you go about finding/editing the downloaded files, after the APK is installed and ran? I can only find the 30ish megs from the APK, not the 4 gigs that came with it's update.
