The scary thing about saturn and/or sega cd games are that the past years games for those consoles has gotten prone to disc rot because the pressing quality of the discs were poor. If you are worried try to shine a flashlight through the disc, otherwise just take care of them.

If you want to, there are more sonic-ish games you could get there's Christmas nights into dreams, which isnt a sonic game but sonic is a playable character plus it was in sonic symphony. also Fighters mega mix, which doesn't have sonic, but Bean and Bark are unlockable characters. You dont have to get them, but i plan to get them for my collection.

Sonic R is definitely a great game, the level design is well thought out, you can play as different characters even medal counterparts of them, and there is good content, the only thing that takes getting use to is the controls

Game collecting can be seen as a waste of money, but at the end of the day it’s a long term profit that’ll gradually gain value over time hence why i collect video games

Yes, unfortunately, if you were a Sonic fan with a Dreamcast in 2004 and onwards, you would have missed out on some Sonic games that were released on other consoles like the GameCube, PlayStation, and Xbox. Some of the Sonic games released after the Dreamcast era include titles like Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders, and Sonic Unleashed, among others. It can be disappointing to miss out on these games if you only had a Dreamcast at the time, but luckily, many Sonic games have been re-released on modern platforms, so you may still have a chance to experience them today. 4:06 that is my friend is a 2D artwork, the only reason I kniw because it's also used for the jp boxart of sonic blast (a.k.a. g sonic)
